Falls the Shadow
Apr. 8th, 2009 06:48 pmToday is the Wednesday of Holy Week. Among liturgical geeks, it is sometimes known as "Spy Wednesday" because Judas was, well, in the process of setting Jesus up on the Wednesday before the Friday.
I should be getting ready to go to Tenebrae, which is a solemn service (Tenebrae=="shadows") that anticipates the Crucifixion. But I feel the need to stay at home and process instead of going to the church and singing a lot of psalms in the increasing darkness, because of a mini blast-from-the-past.
I think I'll go and grab a burger at the Apple of Fatness and come home to ponder (and perhaps to post).
