Granny Squares
Last Friday my mother gave me an afghan that her grandmother (and our mutual namesake) had made. I was a bit surprised to see it as my great-grandmother died almost forty years ago. Apparently one of Mom's cousins had been storing it.
Maggie wasted no time giving her seal of approval to something with so much black fiber in it:
Maggie also climbed in the storage bag, making me wonder if the white hairs I was picking off were hers or my late great-grandmother's. (I wonder if she or my mom's cousin ever had a pet with white fur.)

Maggie loves afghans.
It is clear. Two out of two blue eyed cats love afghans!

The afghan reminds me of the ones my aunt Carolyn used to knit; cousins and various older sibs have some from her.
I was sorry to see your comment in another journal that you've been down. I hope you're feeling better now.
