I'm now part of the Blackberry tribe again - still not wearing it because I am not on call but have been getting it all configured. (Also, I'm, like, stuffed like a sausage into most of my trousers and clipping it on is something I'm trying to avoid.)

I am *really* not familiar with the features so getting some things done has made me frustrated and feeling dumb.

I got things straightened out enough yesterday to go back and check the voice mails - which I suspected were all for my predecessor, the previous holder of the Berry.

Turns out three of them were from HIS MOTHER, who was congratulating him on his new job! ha ha ha ha ha

He also seems to have given his work #s only on his resume - cuz I'm getting calls from recruiters. There was one period where I got a call on the Berry, person on the other line said "sorry, must have got a wrong number", the phone in the cube next door (his) rang and rang, and then the Berry went off again. I guess my next job is to figure out how to change the VM.
